I’d like to say something and I know not everyone will relate
It’s really just a simple sentiment. Not some serious debate.
But I wanna put it out there before it becomes to late
I probably built it up too much already, damn.
I wanna meet other musicians, get together and compose.
I wanna learn a couple covers. I wanna play some fucking shows.
I’m just gonna keep repeating it till everybody knows.
I want a band, I want a band, I want a band.

If you’re proficient at an instrument, then let’s start making plans

We’ll roll up into town and then pile out of a van.
I wouldn’t mind a tropical vacation on the sand

Well, that would certainly be grand.
But honestly that’s all kind of comparatively bland.

I’ve always hated playing solo, I could really use a hand.

There’s a yogurt shop where I’m always showing up
And they hand me a sample in a miniature cup
So I can make up my mind before I have to pay
And if I don’t have work you know I’ll eat it pretty slow.
But if I’m on my lunch break I can get it to go
They wrap the whole thing in foil and send me on my way.
I think I’ll go online and take a peak and
See if this’ll be a toasted almond weekend yeah

I didn’t think I’d want to go, but that just shows how much I know
